[HELP] DSL not available in my house
I'm planning to switch my internet service provider to teksavvy from Rogers.
I'm planning to do this because Taksavvy has a better deal
well my problem is, the deal is DSL connection with unlimited bandwidth
but wen I try to order it, it asks me to enter my phone number to see if there's DSL available
It says my phone doesn't have DSL available. But I really want this so how do I make DSL available for my phone ?
We do have a house phone line.
Thank you

Have a look at this website. It explains about the availability of DSL.

When DSL isn't available, it usually has to do with distance from the available hubs, and/or the physical service in your area. DSL signals decrease over distance, so unless you are close enough to a hub, there would be no signal in your area. Sometimes your next door neighbor will show as available, and not your home. Suggest you call and speak to a representative, and see if the website is correct. If so, if there are plans to add service in your area.
Looking at DSL Reports, Teksavvy is in Canada, correct? Many mentions of it being Bell, and to check their website. Either way, a personal call seems wise.
